Rules

These rules are instated to preserve a happy and healthy chat environment for all users. They are not difficult to follow, please read them if you want to chat with us.

Breaking any of these rules could result in being removed from the channel.

1. No cybersex. Do not talk about it in the channel, do not pm channel members about it, we find it offensive.

2. Please avoid a lot of script usage. We don't care what you are listening to, why you are gone (you can change your nick to show away status), what funny quotes you have to share, or what your system stats are. Most scripts annoy us, we are there to chat. If we ask you to turn off scripts, do it (no, I don't care if so-and-so has a similar script).

3. You must be able to control your scripts (you are only using ones that don't bug us, right?) and your IRC client at all times. DO NOT use an autokick feature, DO NOT complain that you can't shut off a "feature" on your script if we ask you to, if you can't control your script or client don't use it.

4. No flooding, nuking or threats of doing so.

5. Friendly debates are fine (even encouraged), but NOT fighting. If you have a problem with someone, take it elsewhere.

6. This may be obvious, but don't beg for ops, we'll give them to you if we feel like it.

7. No consistent talking in ALL CAPS. It's considered shouting in IRC, it's rude and annoying.

8. Do not talk about killing yourself. If you are seriously suicidal you need a therapist, not strangers on IRC.

9. Bots are ok as long as they aren't annoying, R2D2 is the only one who gets ops however, the rest are restricted to half-ops status.

10. Most people who just do normal chatting won't be so rude as to join a channel and type "!list" ... but it has happened a few times in the recent past. It's not allowed, if you join the channel and do it you will be kicked.

11. Don't be stupid and/or annoying, we'll kick you. This includes "t4lkin lik this 2 much, kthx by! lol! asap bbq"

We do not have a rule against using foul language, but if you do, please use some discretion... if you feel that you need to swear in every sentance you will probably be asked to leave.
